“He defended the cause of the poor and needy and so all went well. Is that not what it means to know Me” declares the Lord.
— Jeremiah 22:16

The goal of the Savane Tabac Partnership is to help prevent the conditions that lead to economic orphans.

Our mission is to bring about the spiritual, physical, and emotional transformation of the Savane Tabac community by providing resources to construct and operate a Love-In-Action Center and ancillary support projects.

WHERE WE STARTED

In 2016, we began working with a young Haitian pastor named Leosthene Pierre in Savane Tabac. He had founded Manna Ministries, which included a small church and a school called Jehovah-Nissi. At that time, the church and school met in small buildings made of wood and tin, and Jehovah-Nissi offered Christian education for children from Pre-K to 6th grade.

WHERE WE’VE GONE

Our bond with the community deepened over time, and as the congregation grew, we realized their church was becoming too small. In 2018, we helped build a new church. Additionally, we dug a freshwater well for the students of Jehovah-Nissi and the community. Since 2020, we have helped build a new school building, offered financial support for teacher salaries, supported the expansion of Jehovah-Nissi up to the 8th grade, and helped construct a 2nd church in an adjacent community. There are now four churches under the leadership of Manna Ministries in communities in or near Savane Tabac.

WHERE WE’RE GOING

Now we're partnering with Many Hands for Haiti, an Iowa-based ministry that has served Haiti for 15 years. As one, we will construct and open a Love-In-Action Center in Savane Tabac. This center will help women and families by meeting their spiritual, physical, educational, and economic needs. Together, we'll provide food for mothers and infants, parent training, healthcare access, community weddings, and Bible studies. Our goal is to empower families to be self-reliant and provide for their children.

YOU CAN HELP!

This holiday season our goal is to support a year of education at the Jehovah Nissi School in Savane Tabac, Haiti! Every single gift will make a lasting difference in the lives of the students and teachers.

What’s our goal?

Our goal is to raise $16,000 by December 31st. Below you can see some of the specific needs of the school, and how much money each one requires. We would be grateful and honored if you would consider Haiti Lifeline in your year-end giving.

THANK YOU!!
